Hey Bloggers It is almost the end of the year and Korimako have signed up to the 2021 - 2022 Summer Learning Journey and today's task was to pick a colouring in that we liked and then we had to colour it in. I picked this colouring in Photo because I love the water. Do you like colouring in online or in a colouring book?

Awesome Kiwi Innovators - Design Process

Hello Bloggers, this term in the Korimako Hub we have been working on Kiwi Innovators but now we get to create our own product. We are allowd to work in buddies. My buddy is Aliah. Our product is an indestructible device case so that if you drop it off the Eiffel Tower onto concrete it will not break. This slide and google drawing are a work in progress. Would you buy our product?

Awesome, Amazing Kiwi Innovators

Kia ora bloggers this term the whole Korimako Hub for Inquiry have been working on something called Kiwi Innovators. In Kiwi Innovators we have three things to do before we create the three thing are UNDERSTAND - Means we know what the story says KNOW - Know we have to find some information that we read. Then we need to research on more about what we are learning. For example at the moment I am working on the electric fence. 

And the third and final step is DO - And in do we get to create something that our task says like for the electric fence we have to make a tv ad so I made it on Biteable. We have to do Kiwi Innovators on our own. I really like doing Kiwi Innovators. This Slide is still a work in progress

3D, 2D Shapes

 Hey Bloggers this term in Miss Smith's Math group we have been learning about geometry we have been learning about shapes and yesterday we got to make anything we wanted out of geometry shapes. I made a tower out of a rectangles and a triangles.

We have also been playing geometry bingo as well. We tried to draw some 3D shapes on the whiteboard. We drew some cubes and some other shapes. What is your favourite thing to do in maths?

Culture Diversity Week

Kia Ora bloggers this week we have been learning about different cultures around the world. Tomorrow the whole school will be celebrating Culture Diversity day. Maori Language Week Animation

Kia Ora bloggers this week and last week the whole Korimako hub did a maori animation. We made a maori animation because last week was maori language week. I did this animation with my friend Erina. Kia Ora bloggers yesterday on Mrs Atkinson's google meet we had to get a big book a few pieces of paper and a pen or a pencil. On the first round we had to do a tree with a swing and us on the swing. I took the photo of what I drew on my chromebook camera.

Awesome 2020 Olympics

Kia Ora bloggers this week in Atkinson literacy we have been working on the Toyko Olympics. On Monday we found out a little bit about the Ancient Olympics, on Tuesday we did a little bit of Geography. & on Thursday we learnt about Modern Olympics. I have not finished this slide yet it is still a work in progress. 

I did this on google slides. I found this a little bit challenging but I had lots of fun. I got the Information from google & Kiwi kids news. What sport would you like to compete in if you were in the Olympics?

Amazing Pandas

In Kerin Literacy we have been working on Information reports. We have just finished working on a report on a natural disaster. I did my natural disaster on the Christchurch earthquakes. This week in kerin literacy we have just started novel studys. Novel studys is where your group chooses a book then you read about it and answer some questions about it. Cybersmart Safety

Yesterday in cybersmart we were learning about how to hide private information like your your car number plate, Mail box number, Hide the road name and a couple more. I did this with Aiesha. Me and Aiesha did this on a google slides. Me and Aiesha took the photos on our chromebook and we used the explore tool to add the cat and party hat. Do you have Cybersmart lessons at school?

Amazing Pink Shirt Day!

Today we are having Pink shirt day we are having pink shirt day to stop people bulling around the world and at school. The whole school got to wear a pink shirt and bring a $1 coin in. Most Amazing Math

In Maths we have been working on Position and Orientation. When we first started this we drew a compasses outside with chalk. We had to answer some questions on google slides. And we had to go on google maps and found what way we had to go. What have you been working on in Maths? We used google slides given to us by Miss Smith. I found some things easy, but others a little bit hard.

Plastic Our Ideas

kia ora bloggers this week in literacy we have been working on sustainability. Sustainability is helping the the Environment. We have been working on this for about a week. We have five different groups about different eco issues in out school. My group is working on Plastic. Yesterday we had to come up with  some Ideas on how we can reduce plastic in our school. We came up with 7 ideas. We did this on google docs. Me and my group found it a little bit hard to work together. What have you been working on in literacy?

My Pepeha

Kia ora bloggers for the past few weeks the Korimako hub has been working on their pepeha. We have also done some pepeha art with our mountain, river & sun. I did my pepeha on google slides. I used google and my gmail to get my Images. What was your favourite thing to do the art or the pepeha? I found this task easy and a little bit hard but really fun.     

Google Docs Scavanger Hunt

Today Is our 3rd day back at school. And Yesterday we did Google doc scavenger hunt. We read the question then went on to Explore witch is on the bottom right on your screen, found the answer and put the answer in a comment box. We practised using our digital skills.  Whats your favourite Google tool?
